ARE YOU A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WANT TO PLAY SPORTS IN COLLEGE?

• You must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.  Here is how:

1.     You must be a senior who meet the academic standards of the Division School that they plan on attending.  For a list of the qualifiers see your high school counselor or Athletic Director.

2.     Go to www.ncaaclearinghouse.net

3.     Click on “Prospective Student-Athletes” at the bottom of the page

4.     Click on “Registration Form for US Students” from the left menu

5.     Fill out the Student Release Form

a.     High School Code for Hughesville High School is 391850

b.     Select and remember your 4-digit Pin Code

c.     A $50 fee is required to register for the NCAA Clearinghouse.  Please pay via credit card online.

                            i.      Check with your High School Counselor to see if you are eligible for a Fee Waiver.  If you received a fee waiver for the ACT or SAT you may be eligible, if you did not then you are not eligible for the waiver.  Confirmation of the fee waiver must be completed by the high school counselor or your Release Form will not be processed.

6.     Print 2 copies of your completed registration form and give one of those copies to the high school counselor who will send your official High School transcripts and other appropriate documents to the NCAA for processing.
